3 minute twiddle on The Grand. Export audio.
1 hour and 35 minutes later it finally reaches 100%. Madness, utter madness. I think I'll be bouncing it down manually from now on... The steins seem to have forgotten to update the splash screen too - it still says 0.0.1 beta. Made me laugh that did. Sounds great tho | |

From what I've recall of Peter Georges command on this subject, there is a delay built into the Grand that guarantees that the rendered file is of the best quality possible. This is due to the large sound source file, the 1.3Gb of samples. So if your machine is not able to play the best quality piano, you will still be able to render as it to be the best that the Grand can offer.
For me, it took about 30minutes to render a 3 minute song. This is annoying to me, on my P3-750Mhz. Since I use Pulsar sound card, I soloed my Grand track, turned off all other VSTi's for a moment, and routed the output of Cubase to input of Cubase (need to have the monitoring turned off for that), and recorded my Grand in realtime. So 3 minute tune is rendered in 3 minutes. It works for me. I love the sound of it. The rendering is annoying. Oh, well. It's only version 1.0 |
