I haven't seen a request for music here in the longest time. Let's hear it! To inspire and educate each other, let's have some links to your music, and maybe a note as to what fun stuff you tweaked to make it happen.
I wish I had something to offer right now, but I've been spending all my time trying to figure out how to use the tools, and not enough time actually producing anything tangible with them. Inspire me and others to do so!

The band I'm in is almost done with our new CD (just 4 songs, not a full album). It's a combination of VSTi, hardware synths, and even (gasp!) real instruments! When it's ready, we'll put the whole thing online as mp3s, and you can count on me spamming the list with references to it

There's a couple of tasters of what I've managed to coax from Cubase here. The first song on the page was done on a ProTools mix plus system but the other two were mixed and mastered directly from Cubase with a mixture of Halion, Absynth, Reason, Battery, B4 and others, also a smattering of Nord Modular and Kurzweil here and there. Oh and I nearly forgot, a Gretch Rockjet, a pod, a chord book and a capo!

Listened to them all.
Lots of talent and interesting stuff, and such wonderful variety, but Greedy Soul does it best for me. Mmmm ... KvR is a good place to listen to music

quote: Thanks for the kind words, its home studio stuff though, all done in my 10'x8' loft (where I can only just stand up in the middle!) on a G4/450, no desk mixing stuff though I do use my 01v as a control surface occasionally. I did do some pre-mastering with Powercore stuff as well. I'll put some more tracks up there next week hopefully. Cheers Tim

Ok, this one is one my best songs, completely made with pro52 untweaked presets (except for the strins in it) Let's see if someone can recognise which presets http://artists2.iuma.com/preview/syphax/ check the track: Sphere

Here's one I knocked up just using Sonic Synth'sSymphony Strings ROM
It's from the opening movement of Palladio by Karl Jenkins and is also known as diamond music as it was used for the Debeers diamonds addvert. I am not happy with the crecendo at the end of the piece it sounds kinda boxy and flanged I presume because I used the wrong patches for that playing style though I did experiment and used the most fiting patches I could find but it still didn't come out right are there any tricks to make this sound better ? http://www.rossiterandco.com/files/diamond.mp3 Thanks to Kevvvvv for hosting this

Hi, what i have made with cubase VSTi, Pulsar and a Novation superbasstation, is something quite unhearable for all ears ( i like was is destroying ;] )... vulkanizer are 4 noizemaniac and all is about synthesis ( no samples at all apart from some single drum shot ): dr008, junglist, retro, tbl, freesonic and more + some heavy fx on it... FM Project is less hard but have interesting sounds made in pulsar synths... some of my oldest track projects was made with also FastTracker2 and Cubase like Final Approach ( however mixed in a friend studio ;] )
http://krakengore.da.ru nice ear trashing and happy to have some feedback lou

mp3.com p#ssing me off! Maybe it's my server at work, but it is not co-operating, so i can't hear those of you from there unfortunately.
The most serious thing i've heard yet though is Sirius. There's so killer stuff going on there man! I really like how live musicians are worked into the electronic landscape smoothly. I wish the quality was better, but maybe that's the streaming thing. Some great bass and wailing guitar (who played that?). Very nice lenthy thematic...i'm looking forward to checking out more.

Havent had time to check 'em all but Greedy Soul's is rocking my booty man! Heres my meagre offering: http://www.computermusic.co.uk/redsong/gateme.mp3 'tis a little sketch I've been messing with - this is an early stage mind - no coherent structure to speak of in this version - its developed from there quite a bit lately... starring: Halion EVP73 CM-101 Sampletank SR-202 ReDrum (does that count?) Cheers Red

I enjoyed all the tracks here alot... Here are 2 older songs (almost a year), that I did exclusively in VST, with Vsampler, PPG, Attack, TBL and some FX. They where exported (rendered) as soundfiles directly out of Cubase, so no external recording whatsoever: http://artists.mp3s.com/artist_song/1419/1419950.html http://artists.mp3s.com/artist_song/1605/1605164.html

Okay okay, I am a bit late again, but at that time this thread was active my 100%-VSTi-song wasn´t ready, but now I wanted to throw it in. http://62.26.219.242/ It´s called "JubelBuben", and is a very soft ballad. I used lots of M-Tron sounds (strings, flutes, cello, doublebass, harp), and the piano is The Grand from Steinberg. The percussions are out of my noise-library, played through some EXS24-instances. thanks for reading putte

100% Pentagon 1 "trance jungle" song to hear it (.all file) you need *just* Cubase 5 and Pentagon 1, (sorry for limitations but this way you get small download and full quality) http://digilander.iol.it/luisi/Pentagon_dubticon_by_Liqih.zip
