Old James Brown tunes from the 60's and 70's the funky horn section.Whats my best bet on trying to get close...Im a novice so not to technical guys go slow with me please.I appreciate any help.You guys are by far the most knowledgeable on the Net and Ive been just about everywhere.Also dont laugh but Im a Disco nut...got books on the subject and all.Im trying to create the violin type dreamy pad sound thats trademark on just about every disco tune ala BeeGees "How deep is your Love".Quit laughing guys.I luv disco...any suggestions.Ive havent tinkered to much with cheese machine but it may be my answer I just dont know much about the knobs.Thx in advance.

Most of the 70's disco strings were done with an ARP Solina. The latest FM issue has some good free samples.

Just old vinyls, decks connected to your sound card and a recorder app. Very Happy
