hey, even I as a non-synth-freak like this one.
Yes indeed, it has some "barbaric" sounds in it, as mentioned on the reFx-site..lol. [Smile]

Tons of presets as well...and automating it with Logic 5´s new Automation is a dream.
Also I like this friendly blue GUI.... fine michael, and thanks very much for the mac-version.

Indeed, Thanks Michael for the excellent Mac Plug! I was a big Juno fan back in the 80s... And this is a nice way to add that sound back into the rack.

I just loaded up the Mac version in Logic and it works perfectly! Thanks a lot for a great demo (but God, do I really need another synth?!!). It sounds excellent, and the GUI is very pro. I especially love all the waveform options we have, as well as the many filter variations. A really superb and long list of presets really help to give us an idea of what it can do (this is starting to read like a review!). Anyhow, my only criticism is that I would have liked to have 'noise' as a choice of waveforms. Congratulations Michael. [Cool]

At US$30, even if I DIDN'T need another synth, I couldn't afford to say no to X2.

And my Juno was a 106 (not an Alpha) so I don't know if the lack of Noise is true to Alpha or an omission on X2, but there was this delicate bell sound that I used to use that was mostly resonance with a little noise, and it would sure be nice to get that sound back...?

Regardless, the X2 is a great synth (and it worked in Logic 4.Cool and I appreciate Michael's efforts in supporting the Mac platform.

Next up... NEXUS? [Wink]
