They seem very interesting. Im currently downloading them and i dont know how they sound, but listen to the description of one of them:
''Sound Crystals is a space where objects with attached sounds can be created. It is a kind of a "pool" where randomly shaped crystals become alive and emit, in a strange and unexpectable way, the sounds attatched to them. The sounds change with the location and movement of the crystals'' Sound cool, huh? Address: www.ixisoftware.net Ben wrote about them in the news section, but i thought I'd let you know, so you can check them out if you still havent. Bye

hi Tristeza,
I downloaded the iXi stuff a few weeks ago - nice concept, funny to play around with... what worried me is that there are no prof. audio-settings or something like an aiff-recorder(like in reaktor) ...this thing called spindrum is my favourite ![]()

yep, the installation is a bit weird - you have to download this "launcher"-thing and copy it into each instrument folder and rename it like the instrument.. ![]()

Yes, its all still in beta but the GUIs are very interesting. I definitely like this better than the obssesion for rack-alike plugins. When we all get fed up of emulations this should be the way to go.

cute ideas! but if I see another bunch of flash-created gizmos masquerading as apps I'm gonna puke... If they just said they were flash then I wouldn't have wasted the time downloading them. |
