Haven't heard anything myself. The only thing on the website is the pay online and you recieve the boxed product through the post (no middleman).

I hope the rumours right though, it would be great if NI did this.

There is always the middleman - your government - the taxes they charge make-up for the lack of middleman so you end up paying (in my case) almost the same.
