AuthorTopic: Battery/Velocity Switching...

I can't, for the life of me, change velocity settings for multiple layers in a cell. I know in fact that this option exists...any help?

Also (sorry, just ran into NOLA this weekend and picked up the program) I noticed that each row has cells mapped to fixed notes. Can these be changed? And if not, does Battery route each cell assigned to that note to the sequencer?

i.e.-If I've got a snare in Row 1, F# and a kick on Row 2, F#, then will both of them sound when I input the note into the key editor in Cubase? Or does each row correspond to a different MIDI track?

Sorry if this is garbled...I'll check back to make clarifications...

Easy,
Bob

Everything is assignable. Velocity range, root note, key range etc.

Just find where that parameter is displayed and click and drag. You can also change which parameter is displayed above each pad with the top drop down menu. You can click and drag from there as well.

Forgive my ignorance, but click & drag what? I know how to display the parameters (root key, velocity, etc.) for each cell using the menu, but if the Velocity section shows that "Snare 1/2" & "Snare 2/2" both have a velocity range from 127-1, then how do I adjust so that "Snare 1/2"'s range is now 127-100 and "Snare 2/2"'s range is 99-1???

Try pages 41-43 of the Battery manual. People who pay for the program get a maunal.

Yep Norbert, I guess you're right about that. I'll just have to tinker some more and figure it out for myself...and sink into some sort of depression about not having legitimately obtained a copy of the program...

Bob, I can't really see you getting that depressed about it, huh?

Takk,

Not at this point. I'm not gonna' sit here & lie about it...I do use illegitimate copies of software now & again. But if I can find a use for the app, I do buy the full copy. I just don't have the financial security to spend money on each & every bit of software that comes down the pipeline and looks intresting. Wasn't tryin' to get anyone riled up or anything, but I wasn't gonna' fall down in a fit of guilt either;)

Easy,
Bob
