Hope they didn`t change the skin it because of my preview on it. anyway .... i will make a backup of the old dll before i overwrite it
the sound of the old one is simply unique

I changed GUI because of your review also.

Unique sound of first release
is not changed. It is identical.

Just check volume level.
It could be different.

and let me know if there is anything !

Alex,

I'm running Orion and there seems to be an issue with GalactiX no longer communicating the preset-list to the host. I can not choose sounds from the generator preset-list, only on the synth itself. When I open the preset-list from Orion it does not show any patches. It worked correctly in the previous GalactiX version. Besides this little bug, great synth, going to review it on my website but I will wait untill you sort out this bug.

Am I the only one who gets an 'bank error' message when trying to load the rgcAudio soundbank (that was included with Galactix versions 1.0 and 1.2) into versions 1.3 or 1.4?

I like this synth though.

i love the sound of the thing, but if i play a chord on certain patches it uses anywhere between 30-80% of my 1.2ghz anthlon cpu.

Dear Coby,

rgc fxb patch from previous GalactiX versions is included
into standard factory preset of new release.
(see presets # 19-29).

you can't load fxb files that you used with older vertions into
new GalactiX.

Galactix is great (unique sound), but I have some problems with it in Orion :
- when I load a song containing Galactix or load galactix for the first time, it does not produce any sound, I have to select a preset to wake it up
- Galactix does not seem to respond to program change (from my midi keyboard)
- you can't choose the pitch bend range
- when I load a wave for an oscillator, this has no effect...

Great synth anyway...
