Hi people,
I have an evolution 249C keyboard, I hope somebody is familiar with that.. It has assignable controllers which Im trying to make it work... Ive used the Neon synth, which allows you to assign only res and cutoff to the keyboard.. Do you know the procedure for assigning knobs to VSTi..and which synth should I use to get all my knobs to work? Thx! nixis00

you need to know which CC number is used by which parameter the VSTi lets you control, in reaktor this is done really easily by right clicking the pot, or slider on screen and setting the CC number in the properties sheet that pops up. With other synths these numbers will be predefined and you need to check your documentation for the numbers you need.
on the 249 c to assign a pot you press both control select buttons on the left, then move the pot you want to assign a cc number to, then you press both control assign buttons togther and use the number buttons to assign the number to that pot - presto your pot will now send cc messages for that CC number.
