AuthorTopic: Fruity vsti in Orion Pro

Anyone else tried it yet?
The Orion cpu reading is normal, it barely register's but the Fruity cpu meter goes balistic here, just standing idle with nothing loaded, it veer's crazily between 25/85% (P4 2.0) Is it just me? BTW, no such prob's (?) with Cubase 5.1 either.

CPU meter in Fruity is not accurate under certain cicumstances. I suggest using TaskManager to judge your CPU utilization. Basically - it's only the meter that shows that - it will probably be hidden in VSTi.

Thank's Feveria,
It just struck me as odd, showing extreme cpu readings like that in Orion but not Cubase. [Smile]

Not yet BONES, I'm still using the FL 3.5 demo. I think they'll start sending them out out later this week. (?)

i think that if you put orion and fruity together they will fight till the death, as we have seen here before.

I didn't even know Fruity 3.5 Demo was available. I just looked at the Fruity web site and it said "Fruityloops 3.5 demo isn't available yet. Please be patient ...".
Where did I go wrong?

You are right Feveria, with Task Manager the cpu reading is about 2/7% using Orion and FL vsti.
That's better [Smile] [Smile] [Smile]

Hi viridis,
Get the 3.5 demo at
http://www.tucows.com/mmedia/preview/209204.html
Hmmm.....just noticed it's only the "Pro" demo and not the "Full".

There's no "Pro" or "Full" demo of Fruityloops, just a demo.

I don't think so. Gol and Rich get on pretty well and often help each other out. I'm sure that any incompatibilities will be ironed out faster than for any other combination.
