For almost 30 hours now I have been trying to figure out what the hell is crashing or should I say destroying my Steinberg SX. AFter I tried everything, and I mean everything I came to the conclusion that it is Absynth. I LOVE Absynth.
Am I the only foolio or what. Pleae let me know if anybody can help me. I make sure I write that person a nice song.

Can you provide any details where/when the crash occurs?

I bought SX less than 48 hours ago, but Absynth seems to work fine in it.

The first five minutes everything works fine. And then the crackling and poping starts and I can't play the track smoothly. Actually it gets to the point that it becomes practically distortion. And then SX freezes up on me (not responding). If I use absynth, I can't play back audio files. Damn, and I love Absynth

I get horrible crashes too with SX! The windows and fonts get all messed up and I get some window id 1.1 error or something. The error window keeps popping up (they keep popping up until my computer crashes). Absynth seemed to work better with the alpha version of cubase than it does with 1.01

Just as a matter of interest, from where did you get your Absynth ?
