Everything worked until today. No changes done to my setup. Kontakt reads AKAI dir, but when patches/samples are imported, thereīs nothing but occassional burst of noise. Even the graphical representation of the samples shows just bursts. Any clues?

One addition: CDXtract as well as HALion read the same AKAI CD well, as did Kontakt just a day ago. But nothing forces me to use Halion... [Wink]
Other AKAI CDs which were without problems in Kontakt yesterday donīt work today, itīs all the same s**t.

Basically Kontakt reads/imports AKAIs quite well [Smile] . However, occasionally it doesn't read certain AKAI programs or samples at all [Razz] . They know it and I'm sure they try to fix it [Cool] .
