By popular demand BeatBurner - our loop resynthesis tool - has been converted to a VSTi plugin and we are looking for loops for the demo.
If you are interested you can try your loops through the existing standalone demo (available here). You can send us an email (loops@codeaudio.com) or reply to this thread. Needless to say all loops must be entirely of your own creation. ![]() [ 30 July 2002, 14:31: Message edited by: ers ]

PC-version only? Mac people make good loops as well. ![]()
| emerald tablet | Posted: 30th July 2002 11:55 |
it's not more in depth
it's more praising but it doesn't say anything I didn't I just never say lines such as : quote:I don't like to exaggerate

producing extremely musical results is something no tool can do for ya ... it's a nice tool to synthesize loops and that's it.
and that's probably enough to sell the product and I would recommend users to buy it. there's no need for using superlatives and trade techniques code audio ... the users at kvr are smart enough to make there own decisions, and good products sell themselves.

quote:Hi ers, Do you mean you want "dry" loops that can be loaded into BB?
| pHuzZ | Posted: 30th July 2002 13:51 |
and if not . . . does that mean we cant have a go without buying the standalone . . . as the demo doesnt save ?
. . . cheers rob | |

Sorry to say that at the moment we have no mac version planned... but we may look into that after the PC VSTi release.

I find all your answers on posts wrother small ...
now you are probably a busy man, so that might explain. anyway ... interested in the loops I can send by email ? .... I didn't hear any reply on that from ya ... question ... will it be possible to import midi to place over a synthesized drumloop in the sequencing like section of the tool ? it was something i didn`t see in the program .. but it`s probably a very usefull feature. I`d might be something that can generate more sales. Remco

I appologize for the short replys.
Please can you send any loops which you think may be suitable to loops@codeaudio.com. The BeatBurner plugin is much like the application with a number of signifcant additional features including: 1. Sync to host - meaning you can run a number of BeatBurners in parallel. 2. MIDI Learn - for all knobs and sliders. 3. 10 Sample slots - into which samples can be loaded allowing easy switching between samples. 4. Pattern morphing - BeatBurner can now morph all parameters from on pattern to the next over time - this is a very cool feature. 5. Audition on load - samples can be auitioned dry or with processing before being opened. 6. Selective randomization - users can select which features to randomize. 7. Full VST automation. 8. A number of MIDI playback and recording options for BeatBurners internal sequencer. 9. Improved synthesis. CPU usage is about 6-8% on a P4 2GHz.

Just curious - are you THE Ers who made the Ers-Drums for Buzz ? ![]()
| ers | Posted: 31st July 2002 12:02 |
Unfortunately not...
But rest assured I have been asked that question many many times before... (I am the ers responsible for BeatBurner...)

quote:The only other time I have seen this is with Vaz 2010 VSTi which lets you preview presets in the explorer before loading them into the synth. This is a very handy addition and saves loading each of the patches (or loops in BB's case!) up before hearing whether it's what you wanted (which can be a pain when scouring hundreds of patches/loops for the one that sounds just right for your mix). Nice one ers!
quote:Ooh, thats sounds juicy! How often have you wanted to randomise a synth, but leave the envelopes of the LFOs the same coz you were happy with them already? Or you wanted to randomise the envelopes but leave the oscillators alone.
Cool...this sounds great!
While we are on the subject of randomising, have you tried the new hybridisation selection in Fruityloops that, when selected, causes the first chosen VSTi patch to morph with the next one chosen so that you get a hybrid of the two....its well cool

quote:does this mean if I use a vsti sampler like lets say halion or battery to play my sampled voice I could get my voice to morph with a drawbar ? that would be a very cool feature ... I do use delaydots spectral morpher for that now but I need to have two waveforms ... I cannot morph with vst instruments at the moment, i have always find morphing an ineresting effect remco
