hi I bought battery a few months ago, nd its still my fav drum sampler

I'm using Battery 1.01(Mac) in Cubase 5.1r1/32 (VSTi)

the thing is,
I can't seem to beable to load certain .wav file.

the baffling part is that the "Ambient kit" here at Kvr-vst.com is .wav content....

it loads that .kit fine , but I can't open the .wav to make my special custom Kit (for personnale use)

.aif are fine but not .wav

Help ?

Marco,
it sounds like the proverbial Creators/Types problem to me. If you have something like File Buddy, or the "Better Finder" series, or Snitch,or even FinderPop, then use one of them to open a Wav file that is ok, and copy its creator and type into the Wav which won't open. Incidentally,Cubase is also very finnicky about creators/types when it comes to opening a Wav.
If simply changing the creator/type doesn't do the trick, then I'd suggest trying to open the Wav in,say,Quicktime, and then resaving (you could even resave as an AIFF)
