Yeah, I was curious about it too cos I used to have an e64 *but* it looks kak from what i saw Confused

No Z plane filters for a start.... only 1 filter - lpf (i think). The saving grace looks to be that they have retained the 'cords' feature which was excellent fun, and I understand the lag processor etc. are in there too, plus the gui looks to be an 'all fits on one page' job kinda like Pentagon which should make it fairly quick to use once you get used to it.

Whether the Emu brand and these fatures are enough to sway buyers to their sampler is another matter... certainly i won't be swapping halion for it unless it has been enhanced in some way from last time i saw it.

They don't seem to be too forthcoming with info so i guess we wait and see Smile

they wont release it untill they ve sold a lot of emulator 5's , so maybe in late 2003.

This *is* the Emulator 5, according to the Emulator Archive site. Emu were quoted saying as much on the site which also had a (fuzzy) screen shot of it - only thing is, for some reason the site don't exist any more :/
