here we go with a brand new acoustic percussion patch for Tassman,
small but powerfull for modelling many percussion with single or double membrane, and some metallic ones too. please listen to the example loops I made with the included presets. (Note that the 17 presets included got indicative names, they may describe something different from the actual sound which is anyway a reproduction of an acoustic percussion) all recordings were produced with Cubase and fours istances of Tassman, each running my "double membrane" patch, no effects, so you can have a taste of its own sound. http://www.artistcollaboration.com/users/luisi/example1.mp3 this is an ethnic, native american style, set. large drums played with hand or soft mallet and a small bell http://www.artistcollaboration.com/users/luisi/example2.mp3 this is more african style, like djembe, bass drum, cabasa and a metallic percussion http://www.artistcollaboration.com/users/luisi/example3.mp3 this is kind of funky groove with emulation of standard drum set: kick, HH, snare: kick is a shord decay large drum. HH is emulated by a metallic percussion, probably a triangle played with a brush stick. Snare is emulated bu a small drum played with a brush stick. The lead percussion is a small darbouka or other similar one skin hand drum. http://www.artistcollaboration.com/users/luisi/double_membrane.zip here is the patch with the presets. feedback very appreciated.

Holy crap, Liqih! FOUR INSTANCES OF TASSMAN?!?!?! Have you lost your mind? Seriously, though, a nice one indeed! Thanks!

well since the patch is small and monophonic (one drum)
the 4 istances went easily with my AMD 700 and Cubase = about 65%, moreover it's the only way to have individual outputs with Tassman! but I wanna know if the sounds are acoustically convincing ? <grin> |
