Dang it! I am going to have to start saving up for Reaktor, now. I have only two more SynC ensembles to get from DASH, and then I'll have to start collecting ensembles for a different synth. The daVector is a very convincing argument for Reaktor...

Hey Scot, thanxs for the comments! Wink Also, take a look on daSequer, is really worth the 19.95U$, is actually CHEAP, really. Omar from ORIGIN did a great project there. Very Happy

William, I will definately be taking a look at all of these. It seems I can hardly avoid getting Reaktor. Soon. I've been having a good time this evening with both daGlitchBox and daFuzzPhaze FM for SynC. Been creating some VERY interesting loops with those. Expect an order in the next couple of days for the daNordLead and daThreeSquares. Those are the only two SynC ensembles I haven't got yet, and your new special prices make them impossible to resist. Of course, they were bargains before!

There are lots of DashSynthesis products that I would be interested in if they were available in VST flavor. I noticed on the forums that this will be happening. I can't wait. Hurry! Razz

Is there an upgrade path from daVector3 to daVector4 ? Smile

Scot ; consider getting Reaktor soon, or at least before 3.3 comes out. According to what NI said when they announced 3.3, Sessions is going to be priced around the current level of Reaktor, and the full Reaktor is going to go up about in price about $200.

I had a quick look yesterday and it looks like the upgrade price from DaVector3 to DaVector 4 is $4.95 if I'm not mistaken. Has to be worth the price of a pint or so.

It seems you have to have the ticket number, from when you purchased daVector3. Hmm, now where in the hell did I place mine????

Whew, seems I sometimes am a little organized, but I'm ordering the upgrade now. daVector3 was the first thing I ordered when I got reaktor.

Dont you get a copy of the ticket number by email as well?

Yes you do get a copy by email; however I bought mine back in March. Being very disorganized, I don't keep everything I ought to. However, I did manage to keep this one - so I've ordered it and it's just finished downloading. Now to download the manual. Then I'm gonna go play.
I wonder if it's any lighter on the cpu? We'll see in a few minutes.

Ahh. I'm paranoid; all my registration codes et.c. go into a separate email fodler, and I back up all my email about once a fortnight...

Nope, is a total new file. But the upgrade fee is pretty low, just to cover the expenses of the downloads and the much work I got to make this thing work. I also had to upgrade my machine just to be able to work on it. Very Happy

The GUI is big, I now. I worked on 1024 x 768 to manage all the things on the screen. Off course, the Wavesequencers takes more space. But is actually Reaktors fault, since the EventTables won't handle multiple values. Wink But anyway, the thing works great on my machine. But I had to set the CPU-MAX usage to 999, otherwise Reaktor crashes while changing presets. Confused The EventTables go crazy when you change presets. Sometimes it takes a while... but it works. Wink

Thanxs for the comments guys, I hope you enjoy this new version, was a lot of work to me. If the orders continue to go up, I will create more presets for daVector4 and I will also do some FREE upgrades to other synths I create on the past.

Best Regards, WilliamK

daVector4AD Specs:
- 4 Vectors - with 5 WaveSets of 127 Waves
- 4 WaveSequencers with 2 extra SubWS in a total of 6 WS.
- Each Vector has: RezonantFilter (lp/hp) - PitchRamp - AmpEnvelope - Pan - GlobalFilter: Mod and Envelope with StaticDelay - PitchTune - PowerButton
- 4 WaveSequencers have: Envelope, Speed, Length, SkipFirstMeasure, Sync to Gate (NoteOn), PitchRamp. On the Sequencer both have: WaveSelector, WaveSetSelector (same waves from the Vectors), Pitch, Detune, Level, Length of note (the next wave/note will only play when the old is finished or started the FadeX), FadeX (fade from the original wave to the next one). Both don't have any kind of Midi/OSC/TIMING driving the sequencer. It's a 100% copy of the original KorgWaveStation WaveSequencer. The next wave/note on the sequencer will only play when the last one is finished or started the FadeX (did I say it again?)
- WaveSequencers can have up to 256 measures in PolyMode and MonoMode
- WaveSequencer 2 and 4 has RandomWaveSelector
- Modulators: Amp Modulator, Pitch Modulator, Filter Modulator, Filter Envelope, VectorJoystick Modulator for X and Y. Each Modulator has a second LFO to modulate the Speed of the original modulator. They all have choices of: Sine, Random, Pulse, Saw.
- Keyboard/Velocity Split Section, so you can use the upper/lower keyboard and/or low/high note-velocity-strikes for different vectors.
- X/Y module used for the control of the 4 Vectors. + WaveSequencers volumes/fades (you can set X and Y to different controllers) You can even use a Real Joystick to control the Vectors using the program VMIDIJoY from Vellocet.
- More than 60 Presets, including some from the original WaveStation (Glide, GlitterVox, Spectrumize, FuzzyPopClav, WaveRythm, NastyHarmonics, AlpineBells, TheWaveSong, Entropy, DigiPiano)

and the mini manual
kinda too mini Smile

also i want to recomand other good (and relative new) stuff from Dash for you to check:

- daJupitar 8 (i love this one - analogo-noisified fat sound)
- virtual EP MK2 - as good as evp (logic's) and lounge lizzard and way cheaper
- TravelBrother - good experimental sequenced synth

i tried others too but those kept me trapped inside reaktor.
be shure you check 'em asap.
