AuthorTopic: Battery output problem

I posted a problem I have with Battery at the NI Battery forum (http://www.nativeinstruments.de/index.php?forum_us). They are notoriously slow at resonding, however, so i thought i would ask you guys.

"I am having trouble changing outputs in Cubase SX. Under options I choose 8 stereo outputs. These outputs show up in the mixer - but i can't change the outputs in Battery! I choose info, then outputs - so i can see the outputs of each pad - but i click on the output and move the mouse left andd right, and they don't change. I've also tried changing the outputs in the bottom right corner of Battery in the OUT section. Any help would be greatly appreciated! "

Thanks

hmmmm i shouldn't, but here you go > you have to press shift or control or alt (i don't remember , i just do it and im not at home) then click click on the ouput and type the number you need!

and if you like it and use it alot > buy it ;]

I HAVE bought it! You can't post at the NI Battery forums without registering, anyway.

And i read through the Operation manual, and couldn't find instrunctions on how to change the output, only general information about outputs!!

Damn, we make assumptions quickly, don't we! Rolling Eyes

Ummm...Can I jump in here?

He DID buy it. Please hesitate to accuse unless you have a solid basis for your accusations.

-Ah- Seems Lanstar got his reply in faster than I did Cool <edit!>

Best,

Thanks, Dan! Smile

BTW, i just found the info on changing outputs at the NI website. Maybe it IS in the manual, but it is not very apparent or clear.

My jab about buying it was sarcastic.

for the record (also check my posts as afx23) >

I don't have my head up my ass, buying software is the nice/good/noble thing to do but if you can't afford (therefore not going to buy it anyways) the said software but would like to CREATE some nice music : by all means > go for it.

And yes the Battery manual is shit , way too short 'n' simple for such a powerfull product.

It works by moving up and down, not left and right.
