AuthorTopic: Crossfade Samples with Modulation in Kontakt

Hi,

I have been playing around with the demo of Kontakt. I was wondering if it is possible to set up a program to crossfade between samples using the modwheel.

I have a bunch of samples that I use on my E-mu E5000 Ultra sampler that use this extensively and want to be able to do the same thing with a software sampler. I know that Gigastudio does this (I own a copy as well) but I am hoping to use it on a more lightweight VSTi sampler so that I can use it at gigs with a laptop. Cool I plan on selling my E-mu but not until I can do this with a software sampler.

Although I have been playing with Kontakt, it can be any VSTi software sampler like Halion. Just hoping to get the scoop. I haven't been able to figure it out in Kontakt yet.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know how to do this, but I suspect you could just read two patches and link the volume of each to the mod wheel (one of them being linked inversely)?
