jorgen.
help. Shocked
it may sound stupid,
but i can't figure out how to load a sample in cyberFree:
(right- or left-button) clicking on the '...'-window right beside the word 'sample' doesn't work in cubase.
what's wrong; am i wrong; maybe i should sleep a bit and try it again?

Alex,

Just right-click anywhere on the interface and a little menu pops up.

Oh, thought I tried that....I'll try again tonight. This sampler is just what I need as the DS-404 filters give me these awful P4 spikes. I hope that gets fixed. Anyway, nice to see a free sampler for us cheapskates Very Happy

Alex, we've still not heard from *any* other P4 users with CPU spikes whilst using DS404. Not one.

If anyone else is getting them, drop us a mail at DS404@muon-software.com urgently as we're starting on the next version soon.

Hi Dave,

Any chance that the new version of DS404 will lose those horrible, nasty, bad-hardware-esque "generic function" buttons in the UI? Apparently, there are some folks out there that seem to have a fascination for making software user interfaces look exactly like hardware. As for me, I would much rather have something that was easy to use. Those generic buttons are the worst. (I've seen complaints about them on a couple of forums, so it appears that there are others that share this perspective.)

Not to be too crictical of DS404 since its VFM is so high!

(Just trying to help. Smile )

thanks ppl, I agree, some buttons for "sample handling" would be cool, coming up...thats how I want it myself as well, everything just one-click-away...well, Id better go and do it then... Very Happy

I never noticed any cpu spikes with ds404 either. "P4 spikes", funny way of putting it Very Happy
