Hi Christian,
The Yellow Tools Culture seems very cool. Can you tell us more about it?: 1) What is meant by it being "semi modular"? 2) How many different patches in total. I'm assuming the patches are done at high res. 24-bit for it to be a 9Gig core? 3) How much would it likely to cost in the UK? Gee I'm guessing it will be over £350 for that amount of sample material? Cheers!

Hi Noodells,
I've already answered the "modular-question" in another topic, but here again: The modular thing is the possibility to combine, merge and create completely new and customized instruments with the existing multi and layer patches. In addition you can copy, delete, move and scale complete layers but also single keygroups to adjust all the instruments for individual use. So you can use every multi, layer and keygroup as a kind of single module, which can be manipulated in all details. The recording: 24bit/192khz The patches: more you can imagine... Detailed information about pricing, availability and content will be posted at our website within the next days. best Christian Hellinger

Hello Christian,
- will you be supporting AudioUnits? I'm on Mac, and will be switching to Logic OS X by early 2003, I'm sure. - You mentioned that your samples are recorded at 24bit/192Khz - is that the format they are delivered in? Or are they offered at 24bit/48 Khz? I would vote for the lower resolution, so that we save on hard-disk space... Looking forward to demos of Culture!

My guess is that the sample engine will convert the high res. material to the host resoution in real time, or there would be an option? |
