AuthorTopic: 2 bug in the Mac DEMo of Junglist

the first one is whenever I play back something using Junglist Mac demo (whether it be noting) if I press stop My cpu goes from 10 to 100 in one shot...then 2 seconds later all is fine and the VSt prefornmance meter jumps to normal

the second is the pitchbend has a bug...I double click the drum or mid editor with the Junglist Gui right under..if I press stop the pitch bend appears on top of the selected menu

G4 duall 533(mp off)
Cubase VST 5.1/r1/32
(I can send you the .song file if needed )

didn't want to got to those orion centers cause they're much too cluttered(sorry crimson Sad

similar symptoms here too.(G4 dual 1Gb/Cubase VST 5.1)
CPU overload on stop (have these guys managed such a perfect PC to Mac port that we even get the P4 denormal bug with it??Smile)
The pitchbend thing is in fact a redraw bug, where anything that causes the GUI's pitchbend wheel to be redrawn(i.e. either a pitchbend event being played back from a MIDI track routed to the Junglist, or equally, sending pitchbend "live" from an external controller) causes the GUI's pitchwheel to be redrawn in front plan..no matter *how many* windows are in front of the Junglist!! I even managed to freeze my computer by doing this!
Because the demo version doesn't allow automation, there is no way of knowing, but I wouldn't be surprised if in fact *all* knobs try to redraw in front plan.
Otherwise, I must say that I really love the sound of this VSTi, and just as soon as these bugs are corrected,I'll be buying a copy for sure:-)

I concur junglist is kewl

Have you noticed that it does overload even when it's no assigned to a midi track...just hit the "stop" button on the transport and it shoots up even when you just loded up the thing

P4 bug..nawh that ain't like that on our motorollas, don't scare the newbies

the P$ bug would be if when nothing is playing(silence) it shoots up...not happenning on Mac

have you also notcied that if you use the pitchebend all the way up the graphicspitch-bend is corrupted

oh well can't be perfect on their first try, But im really digging it

Hope Synapse ports all it's synths, or even Orion. You'll have a substantially less expensive alternative to Reason. Then start petitioning Rene at rgc audio to port Triangle, Pentagon and z3ta+.

Pentagon and Orion were one of the reasons why I stuck with the PC over an eMac. Also, price had a little something to do with it and to a degree what happened with emagic. I still think it was a candyass thing to do to emagic clients.

The eMac I checked out was pretty nice though. OS X ran great on a 700mHz processor.
