What "type" of drumkits are included w/ Battery?
Are they more realistic or fake? I like the kind of drums that are fit for modern hiphop-type beats--therefore punchy, but kind of in between "real" and "synthetic".....and if anyone knows, how are the Synthetic Drumkits offered by NI? I like different sounding snares especially (not the traditional rock-style). (and Yes, I have searched this forum, the Cubase.net forum and listened to the sample mp3's at Native Instruments, but I still can't figure out whether I'd like to spend $$$ on this.) Thanks in advance for any replies.

A wide range of drumkits are included, all very proffesional and very useable. I also recomend getting the Synth Drums add-on which covers hip-hop to ambient! Fantastic!

Hmmm, just to add on... the styles included with Battery include 60's, 70's and 80's, Big Beat, 2 Dance Kits, D 'n' B, Dub, Earth, French(!), Hip Hop, New York, Reggae, Rock, Soul, Vintage and a fair few more! Value for money me thinks!

If you have trouble getting the Synthetic Drums pack (as I did), NIs own on-line store is excellent, and delivered within 2 days.

Thanks again! In case anyone gives a sh!t, I've been slowly moving from Reason only to a Cubase SX based daw.....and NI products are making it very sweet and very expensive too.

just out of curiosity, how do the synthetic drums stach up to the ones that come with battery? If any aussies have bought them, what did they end up costing you? |
