hi

Getting mine tomorrow to install on the new DAW I'm building this weekend Very Happy

My harddrives will be configured :

1. WD 80GB OS's and data (primary master)
2. WD 120 GB audio files (secondary master)

Am I best to install the instrument file on drive 1 or 2 ?

cheers

Swayzak, slightly off topic but you may want to switch your disks around. check out www.tomshardware.com where they showed that the 80Gb disk is actually tons faster than the 120Gb one.

Whops, I replied in the wrong thread. I guess that's what a full week at work does to you when it's Friday with the combination of being exhausted and having a couple of beers. Smile

It should'nt really make a difference...

When you install, you choose your destination drive and then the 3.8 gig file is loaded there. Once installed it can't be moved...

All the sounds are loaded into RAM...so the hard drive should'nt be an issue.
