And there will be an update or an expansion ROM version for existing Virtual Guitarist owners, of course, n'est-ce pas? Or am I wrong here?

Well, more than 120 page views without a reply (except the one by myself, lol).
Anyway, if someone is interested in some VG EE related infos... : Sven just informed me by e-mail that "...VG EE is not an upgrade. It's an entirely new product..." due to the "...silly amounts of time..." the Germans (not Sven Bornemark!) invested in that product. That's sad somehow. I would buy such an upgrade...

Pepe,
I agree with you. Even if VGEE is an "entirely new product," you would think that Steinberg could offer some kind of deal to present VG owners Shmoe

Glad to see that someone replies... and... that someone even agrees!
At least Steinberg shouldn't call this "entirely new product" Virtual Guitarist + whatever. Yeah, I'm disappointed, but it's OK... I will NOT buy this one. I'm more interested in strumming acoustic guitars anyway.

Well, VG is a brilliant idea. Unfortunately, it's the only game in town with that particular approach, so Steinberg is a bit arrogant. There are work-arounds, I suppose, but nothing with the same ease factor. Now, if someone like Spectrasonics took on the concept, then we'd have some competion |
