AuthorTopic: Any useful VSTi DEMOs?

are there any demos available for download that actually have enough functionality to be used without buying the full version? i mean, despite whatever limitations the demo may have, it can still be used - the sound doesn't drop out every ten seconds or anything like that. i'm on an extremely tight budget, and am looking for anything else i can add to my VSTi's for free.

I hate to ask this, because i certainly don't want to discourage people from paying for full versions of VSTi's, and i don't want to discourage developers from making functional demos available! it's just that i can't afford anything right now. i'm not looking to obtain anything illegally, or use a demo beyond a specific trial period. i just mean if a synth developer actually intended the demo to be useful on its own, i'll use it. when i have more money, i'll buy bigger and better things!

Hi,
I use a bunch of demo version which are quite useful to me :
Pro 53 :doesn't save the settings, quit after 15 minutes,
But the sound doesn't drop out every ten seconds ....and there's a few patch included
Then you can jam with it and bounce loop in your favorite host without problem....
Absynth :only factory presets included but the same as pro 53 demo..
And i think there's other demo like that...
I think they are quite useable as demo,
But legally, i dont know if you have the right to use these sounds in your tacks (if your tracks are commercially available...)
Anyone ?

Lots of free VSTi's.

Crystal, Triangle 2, literally hundreds of Synth Edit synths...

Plenty out there to work with.

oh yes...i got all the free ones i could get my hands on...just looking for something else. i want more! i guess i'm kind of addicted to downloading...

come to think of it, with fantastic freebies like Triangle II, Synth1, JX10, etc., why do i feel the need to find more? who knows...

(also thanks to counterfeit for the reply)

Rainbow and Angelina. The demos can't save, but are not otherwise crippled.
