I purchased the upgrade today to use in SONAR XL 2.1. I installed it in the shared dxi folder under the sub folder fxpansion|dr008.

When I try to open it in a new DXi rack, I get the error: "failed to initialize dxi" Do I need to un-install the old DR008 version?

If you look in your DR-008 folder,you'll see a thing called RegDrDX. Click on that-it'll register the plug-in in Windows. Then,you'll be able to use it.
