I have to say its nice of them to include cm101,and ds404

Yes even though I downloaded Crystal 2.1 the other day I just purchased issue 54 yesterday. It's my first issue with Computer Muzys although I've had CM101 and DS404 for a while. It has 1500 samples on the disk and since I paid $15.00 that's a penny a sample.Even if I never read a word of the mag the disk is always worth the price.I happen to think CM is a good source of information and always has a couple of good articles in each issue.I think CM is a great deal my only complaint being the time it takes to reach the States. However it's definitely worth the wait. Very Happy

CM101, SR202 and DS404 can be found on the cover of every single issue of CM from No. 50 onwards, or bundled with CMuzys from issue 52 onwards. Nobody need ever worry about having missed an issue Cool

Caleb,

All DS404 patches ever released can be found on the Future FTP (including the issue 50 bonus patches):

BTW, what is the difference between Computer Music and Future Music magazines? They're published by the same company, and they even have a similar format. So how do they differ?

Thanks,

Well, Future Music has a lot of hardwarestuff, eg. synth, samplers, mixers, harddiskrecorders etc.

Computer Music hardly have any hardware at all, and if they do it's the cheapest of the cheapest. They would have a synth "round-up" where they review 5-8 synth, but all would be under £300.
But for VSTi and other software it a LOT better than Future music.

Both have demos of the month and tutorials.
Future music might aim for a bit more "mature/ wealthy/ professional" audience, but since we all know software is the way ahead Computer music gets my recommendations.
I used to buy Future music but the last 6 months I have bought Computer music every month and Future music only once or twice.

Computer music has less pages but I find that I read 90 % of the pages there, where in Future music I just read 40-50 %.
