AuthorTopic: Cyclone DXi - How the Hell Do I Play Acidized loops?

Has anyone experience with this beast?

I have only dabbled with Cyclone and not been terribly satisfied with the results. I find that amount of time required to prepare acidized loops that will load and play without glitches is excessive. I also found that in my hands that midi triggering of the pads is sometimes significantly delayed and often not triggering at all even though my Aardvark card is otherwise providing a latency of less than 5ms, so what gives?

Cyclone users please provide a better tutorial. I notice that the reviews are all positive ere so, I must be missing something important or there are some secrets to using this beast.

The only place I've used Cyclone are with really short loops-no more than two bars.I usually just keep them as groove clips and don't convert them to RIFF waves. Seems to work for me that way.
Don't know if this helped or not...
