AuthorTopic: Absynth automation in Cubase SX

Hello, can anyone please help me with a problem I'm having with Absynth and Cubase SX.

I've only just bought absynth so I'm not even sure if you can do this.

I want to be able to control vaious parameters such as Effect wet/dry ballance, filter cutoff etc... from cubase SX using it's automation tracks. The VST plugin has several midi sliders but they don't control the parameters that I'd like. Can you assign Cubase automation tracks to any parameter in Absynth?

The manual mentions very little about the subject and nothing that tells me how to do this.

I'd really appreciate any help on this.

Many thanks

Dave

In SX, you can automate only those sliders appearing in the tiny Absynth VST plug window, so that's not a lot. However, you can select the parameters that these sliders affect from the Absynth "Engine" (the big mode". There is one window dedicated to setting that up, see the manual for details... The modulation control is somewhat restricted, but see if those parameters you're after appear in the selection.

I personally prefer Crystal... so much easier to do those things Smile
