It might be all my fault (I doubt it) but all the moderators on the VG website have disappeared, does anyone know why?
I hear that Peter Gorges got fed up with all the flack he was getting and launched a bit of an attack on cubase.net and seemed to say he'd had enough of going on forums. Look at http://forum.cubase.net/forum/Forum4/HTML/007957.html Does anyone know if the rest of them have also thrown the towel in as we keep posting questions on the VG site but no-one answer?s

Ah, it´s just another case of alien abduction. They´ll be back after they´ve had their probes removed.

Forget Peter Gorges. I got so fed up of all the whining there, that I don't even bother visiting anymore.

I prefer the abduction theory! VG Site: The VG site's very quiet now, almost dead, with lots of question about OSX, AU etc. but I have not seen a post from a Wizoo rep for weeks. The answers are coming from users now.

I've recently got both VG and VG EE and have a couple of questions but the lack of response to recent post's makes me think the worst, so I haven't bothered posting. If they have gone into a sulk over a few complaints/negative comments then they are showing a piss poor attitude to their customers. If they expected a forum consisting of nothing but hero worship they've had a real eye opener haven't they?

Hi, I've got VG and VGEE too, and I definitely think you should at least try posting at the forum before jumping to conclusions. AFAIK, the VG forum is neither Wizoo nor Steinberg sponsored, so it cannot really be compared to Cubase.net. In fact, I believe that the VG forum is privately sponsored by Sven Bornemark, the creator of VG. If Smudge - or anybody else - wants to ask questions of Mr Gorges or Steinberg, I consequently would suggest that you contact these persons/companies directly instead. All the best, Magnus

Yeah, I'd try the direct email route. cubase.net is no place for human beings. prog

Nice one Prog, brought a smile to my face! Magnus - I have exchanged many a comment with Peter on the site and I actually defended him to a lot of people because we had a mature discussion and finally agreed to diagree:
I respect him for that. I imagine the flack that followed plus the cubase.net thang just did Peter in, but what about the rest of them? Sven, Lars, Paul Kellett? Ian, as Magnus said, post your issues on the VG site because there are plenty of us there who will be able to help you.

Yes, the VG site is my own website. I'm sorry about my absence there lately, but I'm devoting all my time to my next project. You'll be able to see it soon and I hope you will like it.

Hi Smudge, You got your reply, but, brother, where art thou? Hast thou disappeared? Whereto? And why? Hast thou even thrown thy towel in? Questions, questions... Magnus

Well at least we know you're alive & well Sven.
I hope it's VG-Pro!!! We'll just have to wait and see I guess? Magnus - Thou art the Shakespeare of cyberspace!l |
