| Teksonik | Posted: 14th March 2003 00:47 | |
I don't own Pentagon so I'll have to sit this one out.How about Crystal or Anamark?
| ew | Posted: 14th March 2003 01:38 | |
Or FM7 or VazPlus?

Ah Pentagon. The true moo cow to program.
Rather than produce a whole range of patches - why don't you pull together a series of tutorials teaching people how to program the damn thing.
| Teksonik | Posted: 14th March 2003 05:37 | |
Oooh Ooooh,Here's an idea for future patch fests. How about FX patches?Wouldn't it be nice to have a Freeverb(insert any FX plugin) patch for every occasion? One for snare, kick,Strings, piano, well you get the idea.OhmBoyz,MobileOhm,PredatOhm would also be great candidates(since I own them)
| Mighty_Hero | Posted: 16th March 2003 06:00 | |
crystal sounds like a great idea. We have SO many who have it and I even think it was ported to mac right?.....or no?
anyhow, I like this idea the best because some are not sure how to use crystal to its fullest, but its a great synth!!!!.....and free. when should the cutoff be?. 4-16-03?
| summer | Posted: 16th March 2003 07:54 | |
Crystal sounds like a good idea since everybody has it, pc and mac.
| hardy slicer | Posted: 16th March 2003 11:32 | |
I've got a few custom Pentagon patches sitting around that I can donate to the cause.
| ew | Posted: 16th March 2003 12:00 | |
Crystal'd be great with one restriction;no Soundfont patches, due to size and possible copyright hassles.

| Funkybot | Posted: 16th March 2003 13:07 | |
I've got an entire banks worth of Pentagon patches that I'd be willing to contribute the better one's from. I'm all for a P1 patch making fiasco!
| progfusion74 | Posted: 16th March 2003 13:17 | |
I'd be up for crystal and pentagon seeing I have a bunch already
| Mighty_Hero | Posted: 16th March 2003 14:06 | |
funky and prog you guys ought to send those patches to sir ben so he can post them here for all of us.....I am waiting on ben to post the ones I sent him as a matter of fact.....ok so cool on crystal then?
when should the date end be?
| Funkybot | Posted: 16th March 2003 14:55 | |
Mighty, I'm actually trying to organise the bank so that the basses leads etc are all together for ease of use, and in the process trying to weed out the weaker or more samey patches but I'll definately post the bank when it's ready. I'll even pop it in bank "F" for Funky
| Mighty_Hero | Posted: 17th March 2003 17:46 | |
ok, cool man, let me know when you post them Crystal it is, so I am going to make the cutoff 4-24 my b-day sooooo.....let's get to making patches for this great synth!

Crystal?
Is this open for K-v-R users, or do I need some mighty recommendations or references as famous sound designer to contribute? Can I send some sample patches somewhere for auditioning? How does this thing work?
| GlennO | Posted: 18th March 2003 06:52 | |
Let me know if I can help out.
If you're new to Crystal patch editing, check out the tutorials on the User Guide page at http://www.greenoak.com/crystal/userguide.html . These are designed to get you started with Crystal. If you have questions, I'd highly recommend joining the Crystal yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/crystal-users/join . That's a good place to ask questions and learn about Crystal. - Glenn

Pakana, this is open to all.
when you make patches for it, send them to mighty_hero@cox.net and I send all of them to Ben at the end of 4-24. (I also test them) Glenn, I will also email these to you as well, for your site. Yes guys, who have not already joined the crystal board, it's a great site....so sign up let's go!

you all making patches?
| pricer | Posted: 28th March 2003 06:49 | |
is Pentagon II compatible with Pentagon I, I only ask as Pentagon II came free with FM mag, and Pentagon I is a retail purchase, so I presume it has more stuff in - either way, it's great to see lots of people posting patches, the banks/patches area is one of the most underated parts of KVR, IMO.
| Mighty_Hero | Posted: 29th March 2003 09:14 | |
I know nothing of pentagon II?????
do you mean triangle II? back OT, anyone got patches to send?

Start a new thread Mighty One, and get the ball rolling
| Mighty_Hero | Posted: 29th March 2003 09:22 | |

| smart | Posted: 29th March 2003 10:05 | |
didn't notice the skicky, and the thread doesn't say Crystal on it so...

let's go peeps | ||
| Lanstar Zero | Posted: 2nd April 2003 20:06 | |
eh - i would rather we do this for z3ta+ . . . but that's just me! Not that z3ta+ does not have enough presets - but it doesn't have enough USABLE presets, IMHO. Many of them are overdone. I would like some more standard VA patches (synth strings, sawtooth/portamento leads, smooth/simple pads, etc.). I have programmed a few like these that i could donate. LZ
| max | Posted: 10th April 2003 14:05 | |
just wondering if this project did produce patches???
| Mighty_Hero | Posted: 15th April 2003 15:52 | |
well mate.....we still have till the 24th which is my birthday, but so far I only got one set sent to me, so I am going to say this is an early done deal
| GlennO | Posted: 18th April 2003 11:44 | |
I think smart may be right. It might be a good idea to start a new thread. As it is, it's kind of hard to figure out what this thread is asking for.

| Mighty_Hero | Posted: 20th April 2003 06:26 | |
hell I must have missed this thread reply from you sir Glenn that's what I get for going out of town this effort did not produce anything except one bank, so I scrapped it early. now if someone else wants to re start this group effort I am all in, but I am currently working on another project, so I am out to lead for now
| GlennO | Posted: 20th April 2003 09:47 | |
Ok, I'll start a new thread. |
