Hi!

Just before Fools Day! My page is back.

This is a big upgrade of Earth-Synth, no manual, but a detailed
block diagram included in the zip file, also see it on my page.

Get it here:
http://home.mindspring.com/~ikaldor/Earth-Synth.htm

Enjoy,
ik.

[Josh, you may wish to update your page too ... Thanks.]

Updated! Very Happy

If ik's page gets taken away again by the bandwidth nazis, you can grab Earth-Synth from here

The webpage now has history, listing each release and making each one available, just in case you really like a previous version or a new one introduces a bug and you need to go back.

I also changed the BMP of the Block Diagram to a GIF, even though the BMP gets zipped to almost as small as the GIF...

Hey ik, I've had a heck of a time trying to audition this into a song hopefully. But it only seems to respond to MIDI Ch.1 in Orion? I'm trying to use this on Ch.7 and no sound. Last night I found that anything beyond Ch.1 is no go? Shocked

Hopefully this can be easily fixed? Wink

Nice Synth. But when I go from one preset to another a note is sustained and won't stop. I notice if I use the keyboard on Earth synth with a mouse things seem to be fine. But if I use my midi keyboard, the note will sustain until I close Cubase SX. Is there something I'm overlooking?

That one is now fixed.

Hmmm. That is strange. I checked in SX demo... no problem here.
Anyone else has this prob Question

- The Very Happy Source Code Very Happy SynthEdit .se1 file also included in 1.21, so one could 'skin it' ......

Thanks ik! Very Happy Looking foward to trying this out on different tracks/channels now. Wink Can't say I've experienced a problem like Munkee's yet myself. I have learned with all SynthEdit creations to let a patches Release and Effects fade out well before changing patches. I'll get weirdness if I change to early and/or can crash Orion altogether? Shocked

Thanks again Ik! Very Happy

Yep, works like a charm now! And now anomalies to be found for me. I even jammed those PC messages back and forth really fast and no hangs or crashes in Orion?

Good stuff Ik! Very Happy
