What does the leakage knob do?
ik

Leakage:
Noise generated by tonewheels: signals in the hammonds generated by
magnetic induction. each magnet/coil "listens" to the tonewheel next to it.
But things are not perfect. There are crosslink between them, so each "reads" also the tonewheel next to .. and next to .. and next to .. it. This all generates a low level noise signal, called leakage noise.

You can check it in dirtbag:
Play couple of chords, release them, then turn up the leakage knob (and your amp's volume to hear it).
Note: this is far from perfect in dirtbag, but I can't put 90 or so (??)
oscillators ( Very Happy Very Happy ) into it.

I heard a tale that when ik was young, he got a snap together VW Bug kit. Within 3 days, he had turned it into a remote controlled 18 wheel Semi truck with flame paint job, and optional 'Kitty Karrier' basket. Laughing

ik man, you're non-stop! Very Happy

Nice one again ik Wink
BTW Why, when the oscillators are set to noise do only half of the drawbars control the noise?

OK, ik, what's next? A dial that sets the volume of the mice that live in the organ?
