AuthorTopic: Ether VST - pad synth from ConcreteFX beta released
Concretefx
Posted: 4th April 2003 12:25
Hi all,

The beta version of Ether, ConcreteFX next PC VSTi synth is available at
http://www.concretefx.com/EtherBeta.zip.

Ether is a polyphonic synth that uses 3 oscillators with 21 built-in waves and 3 user definable waves (created using additive synthesis, similar method as in Absynth). The oscillators can be frequency modulated and are filtered using a 12/24 db low/hi/bpass/brejrect filter. The volume, pitch and fm amount of each oscillator is controlled using a 16-step envelope with loop points. Finally the sound is passed through a chorus, phaser and a delay.

At the moment the beta has no presets or manual and has static every 10 seconds but apart from that it is fully functional

Any ideas, comments, suggestion, improvements would be most welcome

IF you want to send us an email then our email addess is mail@concretefx.com

Thank, I didn't now about that. I think I'll change the name from Ether to Ethereal so to stop any confusion
