VST's taken to the next level yet again. It may be expensive, but they always have 'more' it seems.

i love the sound of reaktor.. its has become the only place i make my wierd sound scapes.. sure.. it does lack some of the ability to make generitive music like max/msp and supercolidor.. but it sounds so much better than both of those in a shorter amount of time (meaning you can have better sounding results faster). with max/msp or supercollider you have to build your filters and etc from scratch, but the built in modules of reaktor already have been optimized and sound dreamy Love

i cannot wait for v4

I just put my pre-order in. I still want to know about Absynth 2 though, if that is 800 NEW patches, or only 100 new patches with 700 old ones still?

will R4 still need the standalone app opened when using ensembles as vstīs in your host of choice?

Good question.They're saying that the VST side's a lot better(multiple instances on a Mac,for example),but that's all I know.

No, the VST version is a real vst-plugin now (without any limitation of instances, resizable windows, vst automation support...), also for the mac-version.

It will definately be much more usable now as a source of effects. I ordered my upgrade this morning.

What I'm stoked up about is "wireless" event/audio switching, with drop-down lists.Matrix modulation in Reaktor's going to be much easier than before Very Happy .

I've read pretty much of what is on NI's site and it's quite amazing feature wise. The big improvements seems to be around the user interface, user interaction with ensembles which is something it was lacking a bit.

And the new ensembles in the library seems simply quite stunning.

Awesome work NI!

Somebody was doing already thoses wireless things in Reaktor with version 3. It was Rick scott with the midi controller switch. A nice infamous trick.
