All,
Any recommendations for decent (and preferably free/cheap) kits I can get for DR-008? I make house and breakbeat type music (music being a term I use in it's loosest sense..), so I'm not really after acoustic/jazz/brush kits etc. Cheers.

Blimey Rob,
Are you the only one out there today? You seem to be answering all of my questions, for which I'm extremely grateful....

The Battery expantion Electronic Kits are worth checking out. They can be imported into DR-008 with the translator and also used in Kontakt.
