Since upgrading to Absynth 1.3.4 I've encountered problems with FL remembering the presets used for the song flp. Now...I have Absynth in my dxi and in a FXpansion wrapper and in my FL vst folder. None of them will come up to my preset when I reopen the flp. The older version had no problem though. In addition the Absynth tends to stick around after I have closed the flp, I have to close it seperatly and I get a "The dll needs Absynth to run bla, blah, blah" pop-up.
I thought 1.3.4 was to be more stable.
Any ideas?

Switch on "allow program editing". That should do it,

In Absynth or FL? I can't find it.

Uh...ok, maybe I'm a dum dum but there is no "allow program editing" as far as I can find (not). I tried save preset function, didn't work. Before with the earlier version it would load the bank, preset, everything, the flp would remember it all. Now I have to at times reload the bank and the preset. Most annoying to is that Absynth no longer closes with the close of the flp. I have to manually close it seperately. You know the 2nd absynth window that opens in the background when you open Absynth into FL.

Well, the wrapper menu is a little grey triangle I think, below where the menu is to link controllers, select presets etc. Allow Editing is in there. Tick it and you're away.

As to Absynth not closing, did you make an edit and the engine is asking if you want to save?

Tried the "allow...." (only available in the vst not the Dxi). Didn't change anything. Well, I think I'll go back to the older version.

Did you save the flp again after you switched on allow program editing? That should work, otherwise I'm stumped,

I know that alot of times when I use absynth in fruity when I open the flp it doesnt OPEN the preset right away. Just clikc on the channel with absynth in it, and the preset should activate once its window is open.
