Hey, since no-one else answered, I thought I'd have a go. Apologies if I'm way off the mark here.
I *think* I can hear the sound you're after in the clip. That high pass lead isn't difficult in itself (you should try some of the banks for Synth1 here and there are several very nice Pro-53 presets - Nitro, HPF Welcome and HPF Seq - which are close in basic set up) but I think the clip has got some kind of gating applied to it too. ...OR... set up a nice saw sound in your lead VSTi of choice, and download the excellent Scuzzphut from DJ Marko. It shouldn't be too difficult to come up with something close, or you could try the Pro-53 presets and see what you can do with those. Hope this has helped anyway Added: listening again to the clip, I think actually the main effect you're hearing is the glide from one note to another and filter changes presumably done using a wheel? It's difficult to make it out completely

reFX JunoX2 can do this I think... "like" a real Juno.
Use the High Pass filter, automate the filter cutoff and add a good EQ'ed reverb... There are 1000 other ways to do it but I don't have the time to list them all

Oops, yes VitaminD... good call on that one. I completely forgot about JunoX2. That would do a decent job

Great! The last preset in JunoX2 - "Where'd You Go" seems to have possibilities for you too (at least in the full version) with some automating of the filters Glad this thread happened.. I'm enjoying JunoX2 all over again!

I would also suggest the excellent REFX PLasticz vsti, which has a "trance-gate" built in.
Oh - and thanks for compliments, guys all the best, scuzz.
