Hey William,
Can owners of daJupitar have an upgrade to RetroA8 ?
| ew | Posted: 17th May 2003 15:36 | |
AFAIK,it's the same synth. ew
| spmadmin | Posted: 17th May 2003 15:39 | |
If so, nevermind. Has it been somehow updated to sound/work better with R4? Or did you just change the name?
| WilliamK | Posted: 18th May 2003 09:57 | |
Hello, I just updated daPadrone to Reaktor 4. The only thing I had to fix was the Reverber again. The rest should sound the same I guess.
RetroA8 is the same file as daJupiter8. I just changed the name since Roland says Jupiter is a trademark. Also, I found that Juno is a trademark, and several sites use that name. Even the famous Internet service JUNO. How come?! Regards, WilliamK
| spmadmin | Posted: 18th May 2003 10:52 | |
William, Can users who bought daProne and daJupitar (and other R3 ensembles) get the R4 updated versions from you?
| WilliamK | Posted: 18th May 2003 10:55 | |
We are working on that. So far daPadrone is allready updated to R4 on the site. Just login with your Ticket to download.
Jupiter8 I have to upload, but I didn't change the sound-structure. Do you have the Reaktor3 dongle? Regards, WilliamK
| WilliamK | Posted: 18th May 2003 11:00 | |
I just uploaded a new daJupitar8 file, it has RetroA8 inside - for Reaktor4 only.

| WilliamK | Posted: 19th May 2003 17:02 | |
I just converted FilterMatrix-II to Reaktor4 format. I had to do some tweeking, but is all done by now. Man, this synth can do some impressive filter stuff. Regards, WilliamK

One question,William...
If we go to the login and put in our old ticket number,are we getting the R4 compatible files or the originals? ew
| WilliamK | Posted: 20th May 2003 11:16 | |
You get the latest update. So if you are downloading a file from the list above, you get the R4 file. Regards, WilliamK
| whyterabbyt | Posted: 20th May 2003 11:44 | |
They backwards compatible with R3?
| WilliamK | Posted: 20th May 2003 11:48 | |
Nope, only R4 will load. We don't see much point on keeping R3 files if they work ok or even better on R4. This also helps warez since R4 haven't being cracked yet. All R3 users can download R4 free.

Thanks for clearing that up,William!

R4 hasn't been cracked yet??????? Devon
| WilliamK | Posted: 20th May 2003 15:25 | |
Ohh well, not much we can do. Darn warez headz.... Anyway, I just released a new synth based on a old R2 synth. B Organ - Hammond B3 Emulation, originaly designed by Wellington. He did a great job on this synth, the Leslie and B3 sound is supreme! Also, I'm about to update AcSampler for Reaktor4. Regards, WilliamK
| DevonB | Posted: 20th May 2003 15:35 | |
WilliamK - So where are all the pulled ensembles on the list? I'm assuming last? Least I hope they're on the list.
Devon | ||
| WilliamK | Posted: 20th May 2003 15:42 | |
Sorry, you mean the Roland files we had to remove? So far only one was ported to R4, RetroA8. The rest I'm not sure yet, since there is no need for that once NI released the conversion tool. Regards, WilliamK
| WilliamK | Posted: 22nd May 2003 09:44 | |
Just so you guys don't panic, I removed all the "old" files collections, at least until we test and save under Reaktor4 format. But the files I allready converted can still be downloaded.
Regards, WilliamK | ||

BTW: JK is starting to test all his files on R4, so we should see new stuff soon.

Hi William,
I have about 20 of your excellent synths and effects, and have kept all the order confirmations. The problem I have, is that I do not know which one relates to which synth. Do I have to enter each ticket number to find the synth I am after, or is ther an easier way. Thanks for what I know from experience will be a quick response. Paull
| WilliamK | Posted: 29th May 2003 08:39 | |
Hello, send the list of tickets to my email: wk@dashsynthesis.com - and I do the list for you. Best Regards, WilliamK
| Paull | Posted: 29th May 2003 08:41 | |

Thanks William | ||
| WilliamK | Posted: 29th May 2003 08:46 | |
