AuthorTopic: Does the synth review section need some organization?

I used to enjoy paging through the synth reviews, but lately, ugggg. Sad

There is now over 420 items in the synth review section and it is just too much. Along with the products for sell by various developers we have a huge number of free synths, SynthEdit creations, sample collections and sample players, and synth that are only available by the purchase of various hosts. Some have not been released and have almost no information. Some have been around a long time and have no reviews and little information. I’m not suggesting that items are removed from the review section, but is there some way to add filtering or sorting? Help

I have long thought that separating things [reviews and forums] into Synths, Samplers, Drum Machines and "Other" would make it easier to get the most out of this place. Further subdividing by price - free, under $80, $80 or more - might also help.

Being able to sort by manufacturer would be nice, too. Cool

You can do most of that stuff in the "instruments" section...
