Does anyone know of some good bass guitar modelers. Along the lines of the Fruity Boo Bass?

Me personally, other than Boo Bass, which is great... I use...
1.) eSoundz Bass Collection, I think it's really good... (Goto the Sonic Reality and Sampletank forum here at KvR, just ask away... but beware of Squids 2 page responses!!! it also comes with the sampletank LE engine which drives the bass collection sounds... 2.)You could also use any type of synth, run it through the bass cabs in Amplitube... Amplitube is expensive put well worth the money. 3.)Now Trilogy is outstanding if you can afford it... I'm still scraping up to buy it!!! I'm sure i'm forgetting a couple, but that's a good start.

Steinie's VB-1 aint bad. It's free and it's here:
ftp://ftp.steinberg.net:21/download/pc/plugins/vst_plugins/VB1_Virtual _BassPlugIn.zip Also Ian's Strat-A-Various. It's here: http://www.ianweb.dial.pipex.com/StrataVar.zip Be sure to also download the extra bass patches. Pluggotic's V-Fingers is pretty kewl too. It's here: http://members.xoom.virgilio.it/pluggotic/Pluggotic%20V-Fingers%200_8. zip You might also want to consider using one of the several VSTi soundfont players and the MANY free bass guitar soundfonts on the web Cheers......CL |
