I'm starting to get worried, NI putting a 65% discount?! Is this an desperated way to get more sales?

Too much people selling, too much free stuff, too much warezing... looks like big companies are having a hard time.

When NI started they were alone, they sold a lot, but now they are not along anymore. Sad

Is the market starting to get hard for big companies with too much staff? Question

Maybe all developers should join into the ultimate copy-protection ever, otherwise will we all crash and die? Surprised

Anyway, just wondering...

Regards, WilliamK

or maybe they are just realizing that the market won't support such outrageous prices anymore? Hopefully...

That's a very bad idea - if history has proven anything, it is that software can't be made copy/crack-proof... the best protection a developer can have is added incentives for legit customers, like lot's of little addons and support that unregistered users don't get. Education of people is also a good starting point... if you have friends who use warez, talk to them and try to make them understand the problems developers are facing. For you as a legit user, who educates others, there is also the possibility that if more people will buy the software instead of copying it, prices will come down.

Btw William, how's my tini-tiny feature request for daAlfa2k coming? Wink

hmm..that looks like NI's sexy leg sticking out on the curb with it's skirt hiked way up wearing some nice thigh highs..I love women in distress..such easy pickings, mhuhahaha..

But seriously, that's about as close to prostitution as I have ever seen in software land...feel the burn..

Or maybe it's just a really good offer for a very limited time...

nah...Razz

I wonder who the targets of this campaign are. Someone who can come up with $1,000 quickly yet do not have any NI VSTi?? Some rich warez abusers, I guess. Very Happy
