The GMedia website claims today is the day for release details of Beatburner VSTi. I would think they would take Sunday off...

Anyway, after a slow week of VST headlines it will be welcome news.

It does say today I'm excited to see what the story is!

Well, it's still today here today... and for a while longer, too.

You may be interested in the specifications of the plugin. It is much better than the standalone with a number of signifcant additional features including:

1. Sync to host - meaning you can run a number of BeatBurners in parallel.

2. MIDI Learn - for all knobs and sliders.

3. 10 Sample slots - into which samples can be loaded allowing easy switching between samples.

4. Pattern morphing - BeatBurner can now morph all parameters from on pattern to the next over time - this is a very cool feature.

5. Audition on load - samples can be auitioned dry or with processing before being opened.

6. Selective randomization - users can select which features to randomize.

7. Full VST automation.

8. A number of MIDI playback and recording options for BeatBurners internal sequencer.

9. Improved synthesis.

Sounds and looks good ers, So how much and is it going to be available as a purchase download version over the internet? Do we get the stand on its own one too? If I purchase the stand on its own one now, would I be upgraded

Okay, HH, it's now tomorrow even on this west coast.

Still no changes on the website, but it looks like we DO have some words from the dev, which is cool.

I allways thought beat burner was cool, and now knew that as a VST it would be even better, but I have think it will be pretty spendy.

Really? Finished for months? What's up with that? Are they waiting for the boxes or something? With so many of the other developers putting products out before they're finished (or so it would seem), waiting for a few months AFTER it's finished sounds really bizarre!

I had a go on the demo a few months ago, its fantasic.

the original was, from what I remember, pretty damn cool.....so I imagine the new will be good as well.

only available in a box !!!!
that means a longer wait and postage to pay
and i don't want more loops, so how about a download version without those for say £10 less, maybe as a special for us standalone owners

Only in a box? Things that come only in a box tend to stay that way. By which I mean I won't buy them. Oh well. The potential customer base for boxes is likely bigger, in spite of how little we may like it. I hope, at least, that existing customers will get some kind of deal...
