Quote:
bPlayer is a first and second order ambisonic file player (plays 4 channel wxyz and 9 channel fmh files).

bRec records the files bPlayer can play.

Emigrator is a second order ambisonic decoder.

hands up who understands any of this?

whats ambisonic mean?

so I checked out the site for illumination...

Quote:
bPlayer: The main, recommended plug. 9 output channels.
When playing back 4-channel 1st-order files, only outputs 1 to 4 send audio data.
Good for all hosts when playing back 1st and 2nd order files.

bPlayer_basic: Special purpose. 4 output channels.
Only recommended for CubaseSX / Nuendo and 1st order decoding
(to not hog the mixer section with 5 obsolete channels).
When playing back 2nd-order files, channel 5 to 9 are omitted.
Can also be used for 1st-order playback within the other supported hosts

bRec

1st- and 2nd-order wave file recorders as VST Plugins for Mac OS X or Windows.
Record your live b-format streams or virtual mixes by the click of a button.

oh right - like that makes sense Rolling Eyes Help

Very Happy I just assumed that it was something for people who knew WTF they were talking about and went on with my business. It sounds interesting, but I'm afraid I would either break things or else just never get it to work. Sometimes I think it would help to be not quite so ignorant. But I don't know. Wink
