AuthorTopic: Claw does work! Was: Claw doesn't work (Mac)

Hi

Has anyone else had this problem? I put the Claw VSTi in either of my hosts' VST folders and it doesn't work (I don't think it even shows up in the list but I may be wrong on this as I'm not on my music system). I've never got Claw to work but it's taken me many months to get round to posting this!

It's a shame because having heard what Beast is capable of, but having no money, it would be nice to have access to that sound.

It's nothing to do with File Types or Creator Codes — these are fine.

Thanks in advance

Rob

Mac OS 9.2 (or 8.6), Logic 4.81 or Computer Muzys (latest)

There are TWO Claw versions. One in the "Classic" folder which is for OS9 and one in the "Carbon" folder which is for OSX. Are you sure you copied the "Classic" version in your VSTplugins folder?

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks, Michael, for the quick response. Well, at the time, I thought common sense had prevailed and I'd tried both versions but obviously I hadn't Rolling Eyes

I just downloaded it again and Classic works fine.

I'm a silly boy.

PS. I had trouble downloading it with Safari (several attempts and it wouldn't download the full .sit). Had to use Internet Explorer in the end. Worked first time.
