Just wondering ... How close is the sound of Virus TDM to the real hardware ?

If you go to www.access-music.de there are mp3s of all their synths including the TDM. Then you can hear.

For the cost you'd spend getting a bloody tdm system you could just buy a virus.... and not worry about how it sounds Wink

Unless you already use tdm, in which case Id say it's close enough... Im not a big synth guy, but Ive heard alot of both and the virus tdm is similiar but slightly more edgy. In fact an 4 song ep I did recently at another studio was for a retro-pop band that used an access virus (C series something iirc) and midway through the project we tried out a demo on the TDM system. they opted for the hardware. I think with similiar settings they were nearly the exact same, but it was hard to do that Wink
