hi guys,

bought Athmosphere today but I´m experiencing problems during installation.

when the installer asks me to insert disk2, the install-progress kinda stucks..i can see that the disk loaded properly but the blue line won´t move on..

I´m using OS9.1 and I updated the "Carbon Lib" as suggested in the troubleshooting..

any tips someone can give me?eric? HiHi

I´m really looking forward to try this instrument..

Here is a solution from the spectrasonics group at yahoo (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/spectrasonics/) which worked for someone with the same problem as you.

"Use DiscCopy to create disk images of all your installation CDs, then mount ALL the images at once (the installer will think you have a whole bunch of CD drives). Now when you run the installer, you MIGHT have better luck"

hope this works

That trick usually works, but if it doesn't...contact tech support at:

info@spectrasonics.net

They'll sort out a solution 4U quick.

hi there!

Should Atmosphere work if it is installed on an external Firewiredrive?
I´ve put an Alias of both components (.dat+the vst plugin) in my vst folder within Logic but without success..

putte, do you have the Atmosphere files on the same drive as logic?
Isn´t it possible to have it on an ext.FW-drive and put aliases in the VST-folder?

Hi Moritz,

You only need to make an Alias of the .Dat, make sure you delete the end of the alias.
Atmosphere.dat alias

should read..

Atmosphere.dat

Just delete the word Alias and the space in front of it Wink

Don't alias the plug-in...just the .dat file.

Keep the real plug-in in your VST folder.
