How what?

Audio effect version can be downloaded from the site. It's called energyXTe.dll, I think. MIDI events can be routed back to the host by right-clicking something that has MIDI out (like the Master In or and Arpeggiator) and sending its MIDI out to the Master Out.

I don't know about the first one since I only use one MIDI input device.

Is that what you were asking about? I'm not sure...

andreas, I'm in the middle of updating the new help docs. Uploading very soon.

In the mean time

1) Multi MIDI-in in standalone version.

Select a midi device in the main window, then set it to On or Off in the drop down box to the right of the midi device dropdown box.

2) New audio effect version.

energyXTE is a separate dll, it has stereo audio in, and can be used as an audio effect in any VST host. Use it to stack audio effects.

3) MIDI events can be routed back to host.

The master Out comp now has a midi in connection. Anythin you route into it will be sent back to the host. If supported by host of course.

energyXT kind of eliminates the need for this, but I did it anyway.

Jorgen, but am I right that only one Midi In port can be opened at the same time (because only one is shown although I have activated more)? I would like to open more than one port simultaneously, is this possible in EXT? I canīt find a possibility for that.

Thanks,
jorgen

Hi, you can open all midi ports, but they are all merged and sent thru the "Master In" comp as one connection.

I'm adding multiple ports to the Master In comp (like the midi patcher) very shortly as a handfull of people requested this right after I uploaded the new version...damn, do you people never sleep Rolling Eyes HiHi

The challange now is to find a nice soultion to one-click-and-drag routing of comps with mulitple midi/audio ports...

Thank you, Jorgen, all clear now.

Btw., itīs a nice feature to have the full screen mode after double clicking on the top bar of EXT. Smile
