piano/guitar solutions

hi
got an small mp3. you might think im a jerk trying to reseble these sounds but i actually took it straight from pop tunes and chillout mixes...just to make an idea.
so what do i want? I need you to listen carefully at the piano and guitar sounds in each part (the mp3 is devided into 6 parts, starts with 3 piano, ends with 3 guitar sounds) dont mind the other things except the piano and guitars
i need you to identify and give me recommendations on solutions if i want this type of sound (not hardware). i mean, there are ALOT of samplecds, and LOADS of shit amongst those, i usually find like 1/100 of the cds decent. should i use grand piano vsti? virtual guitar? what? Razz

the mp3 is in here: ftp://217.208.46.122/forum/

thnx in advance

I can tell you right now, if it says Steinway or Bosendorfer on it, stay away from it! Very Happy Yamaha pianos are typically brighter like, a C7. The Kawai piano I have is pretty bright, but may or may not be what you're looking for. I have an example of it on my share at http://www.panicnow.net/~devonb under As She Wiped My Tears Away. That piano is only $35 in Giga format.

As for guitars, a real one is best. Smile

That should do ya. Smile It's a very pretty piano for a very niche sound, IMHO.
